Deploying Context Graphs into the Fortune 500: Lessons Building the Context Layer for Large Enterprise

// ABOUT THIS SESSION

No Fortune 500 CIO wants a wild west of agents running around, yet agents show most intelligence when their harness lets them roam free. Conduct navigates this challenge across several enterprise behemoths by building a unified platform that companies trust to do sensitive work and that handles their deep enterprise context — bridging the broader tech industry and the parallel world of enterprise tech stacks (SAP, Oracle, Dynamics, Signavio). Conduct's first attempts (graph databases, central indexes) didn't scale; what worked turned out to be familiar: model data for LLMs like hypertext to let them roam, use web-API patterns for permissions and governance, and pick the right abstraction to hide the complex web of systems, integrations, IT teams, and consultancies. Building this isn't just an AI problem — it's a deep software engineering problem about meeting the enterprise org where it is and taking it on a transformation journey.
